UPDATE: March 16, 2020 – 11 AM.

Although school is closed for several weeks, we are providing families with an opportunity to access free breakfast and lunch for children under 18 years of age. Our intent is to make the meal distribution process as simple as possible.

We are offering free Breakfast and Lunch Wednesday-Friday (trial bases this week) 8:30-10:30pm at the carline arrival door, decision to move forward will be made based on school community participation

Because the situation is complex and evolving, our plans may change. If they do, we’ll let you know.

Important update: As of Thursday, March 12 at 11:00 PM.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that in order to slow the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Michigan, she is ordering the closure of all K-12 school buildings, public, private, and boarding, to students starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5. School buildings are scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 6.

Q: Is there a way my child can continue learning?

A: MMA Family: please check your emails for MMA updates!  Work packets for all students will be made available Monday 3/16/20 9:00am-2:00pm. Stay tuned for more information! Also, check out Facebook for ideas on additional educational resources!

Q: I’m concerned about providing food for my children, will there be any provided to my child by the school?

Q: Will anyone be at the school building in case I need to drop off enrollment paperwork or pick up something from my student’s locker?

A: At this time, your school is working to offer times for families. Please keep an eye out for updated information as we know more.

Q: What do I do if I or a family member is sick?

A: According to the CDC, you need to call your doctor:  If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider immediately. Q: Are there any restrictions on personal travel?

A: The CDC has indicated travelers returning from (SEE BELOW) specified countries must stay home for 14 days after returning from travel, monitor their health, and practice social distancing. It is recommended staff and students utilize the free virtual COVID-19 screening through your healthcare provider,  if you have any concerns you may need to self-quarantine. Please see the CDC travel health notices for an updated list of travel restrictions and guidelines.
