Dress Code

All students are required to be in the school dress code. We are here to support you as a family, but it is the parent's responsibility to make sure that student's have the school uniform.

● Shirts - White, light blue, or navy blue polo style or button down shirt
● Pants - Cotton work style khaki, navy or black slacks (leggings or sweats as pants are not acceptable)
● Shoes ‐ should be comfortable dress or tennis shoes. Platform, high‐heeled, sandals or open toed shoes are not permitted.
● Hats, hoods, and headbands covering the ears must be removed inside the school building.


Friday Dress:
● Students may wear jeans and an MMA t-shirt or their uniform shirt (no cost for students)
● Students may wear their regular school uniform
● Students may earn “ dress down” based on behavior/academic progress for the week. Students will have to earn a dress down ticket on Friday’s by the teacher.


Need Uniforms?

● Let your child’s teacher or the front office know if you need assistance with uniforms. We have a uniform closet and we can help you out.

 

1st Offense - Verbal and written warning
2nd Offense - Phone call to parent/guardian (at home or work)
3rd Offense - Parent Conference
4th Offense - Possible suspension

Attendance Policies

Did you know attendance is critical to your child’s success?

•It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to get their child to school.

•Missing just five days of school means 30 hours of missed instructional time.

•Starting in kindergarten, there is a direct link between absences and reading level.

•One in ten kindergarten and first-grade students is chronically absent.

•Students who are chronically absent are 7.5 times more likely to drop out of high school.

CHRONIC ABSENCE: 10 or more days

WARNING SIGNS: 7-9 days

SATISFACTORY: 6 or fewer days

Monday - Friday- 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Our Social Media Privacy Guide helps you and your children select the highest security settings so that only approved friends can access your information.

We take cyberbullying very seriously. It is our goal to educate all of our school families about internet and social media safety. If you suspect that your child may be experiencing cyberbullying, please contact your school administration immediately.
