February has been a busy month at Macomb Montessori Academy, with celebrations of Black History Month, Family Game Night, our Mother’s Dance and more!
Our students celebrated Black History Month all February with a visit to the Charles H. Wright African American Museum, a wax museum dedicated to Black History and an art project dedicated to showcasing historical figures in Black History in America.
We were also excited to celebrate Family Game Night at MMA, with students and their families enjoying board games, cards, a bounce house and food with our hardworking staff! This event was hosted in coordination with our Parent University, and what better a way to get our families excited to re-enroll in the new school year.
Another celebration hosted at Macomb Montessori Academy this February was our Mother’s Dance! We were so happy to see our students celebrate their school pride with their mothers in attendance and we look forward to bringing more opportunities like this forward to our families looking to get involved at our school.
There is plenty more happening at Macomb Montessori Academy as we approach the end of what has been an amazing school year. As we look forward to what else is in store, be sure to stay up to date with us on social media and keep up with our blog.
